Sketchy Massages at Tulsa International Airport (TUL)

Tulsa International Airport

The Airport in Tulsa is surprisingly good. I don’t mean that in a bad way but I never know what to expect when I travel in and out of smaller airports. Really easy to get in and out of. Plenty of seats available. Plenty of couches and lounge chairs available, free WIFI, and some restaurants. Best of all, PLENTY of places to plug and and recharge your electronic devices. Do not fear, there are 2 Starbucks locations, one outside of security and one inside.

Accessibility to city:

Very easy to get to Tulsa and back.

Ease of transport:

Rental car place kind of far.

Comfort:

Very comfortable airport.

Food:

Decent options available.

Wildcard:

The Wildcard is tough on this one. I think the Wildcard has to be how easy it is to get through security. It’s often overlooked because you just expect to spend a lot of time in line. But at this airport, there was no line. I went through in just a couple minutes.

2 weird things.

1. There’s a random massage place that gives you massages in regular, outdoor, white plastic chairs. It didn’t look legit at all. No I didn’t try them out.

2. To get from your gate to the rental car area, you’ll have to walk ALOT. I didn’t mind it but it can be troublesome for some people.

Final Rating

There are a few things I look for in airports. Accessibility to corresponding city. Ease of transport within the airport. Comfort (seating/plugs/shopping). Food. And the wildcard. The wildcard is something unique that helps or hurts the airport.

The Tulsa International Airport receives a 7 out of 10.
